Anne Marie MacPherson, MBA, CFRE

Anne Marie MacPherson

Anne Marie MacPherson has more than 26 years of experience working with nonprofits, including 14 years conducting capital campaigns, feasibility studies, pre-campaign advancement  plans, and community needs  assessments.  

As independent campaign consultant at Capacity Rising since 2010 and former Principal with The Collins Group, Anne Marie has conducted 25  feasibility studies/assessments and has managed 12 campaigns ranging from $450,000 to $22 million.

 

Anne Marie is known for her down-to-earth, straightforward style, her hands-on fundraising experience, and her innovative solutions to major gift campaigns. She brings expansive fundraising sector knowledge to the  table.    

Anne Marie serves on the national Board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). As past Co-President of AFP's Seattle-based Chapter, she oversaw a merger that made AFP  Advancement  Northwest  Chapter one of the five largest chapters in the world, representing over 750 fundraisers in Washington State.  

Anne Marie's previous leadership roles include Vice  President of Resource Development for Unitus  (microfinance), Vice President of Marketing and Development for Seattle Goodwill, and Director of Market Development for Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin. 

 

Before working  with  nonprofits,  Anne Marie managed garment manufacturing plants and trading operations in  Central America, Eastern Europe, and throughout Southeast  Asia.
